How to Choose a Criminal Defense Attorney

Being charged with a DUI is frightening and potentially life-changing charge, and you have two options: defend yourself or find an attorney who will defend you. • Friends/Family- Don’t forget about regular flesh-and-blood people! Maybe a friend was just in court for a DUI or maybe a co-worker had recently hired an attorney- ask them about their experience with the lawyer. Were they satisfied? It has been said that a man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client; and nowhere is this aphorism more poignantly relevant than in a DUI case. In order to stand a chance to fight properly against the charges of drunk-driving you will need to hire a qualified attorney who can offer their knowledge and expertise to defend you. These resources can help you find such representation, and help you on your way to winning your case.
