Michael Stover was born and raised in Saint Augustine, Florida. Mr. Stover attended Florida State University, graduating in 2013 with a degree in English and Political Science. He attended law school at the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law, where he was a member of both the trial team and moot court team. He placed 2nd nationally at the William E. McGee Civil Rights Moot Court Tournament and had the opportunity to argue in front of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Mr. Stover was an Assistant State Attorney in Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam counties where he tried over 20 cases ranging from DUIs to complex bank litigation to felony weapons offenses punishable by life. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Stover has devoted his professional career to the representation of the criminally accused in the State of Florida. He uses his years of courtroom experience and understanding of the State Attorney’s Office to achieve the best result possible for his clients.
